Elin Hilderbrand was born in Collegeville, PA and spent her childhood summers on Cape Cod. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University and subsequently attended the University of Iowa Writers Workshop, where she was a teaching/writing fellow. She moved to Nantucket in 1993. Her first novel, The Beach Club, appeared in 2000 and has been followed by almost two dozen more books, all of which are set in the world of Nantucket. Elin does her best writing on the beaches of Nantucket and on the charming streets of Beacon Hill in Boston. 28 Summers, her 23rd novel, will be released in June 2019.
