Linda Greenlaw, America's only swordfishing captain, has written four books on her life as a commercial fisherman; The Hungry Ocean (1999), The Lobster Chronicles (2002),All Fishermen Are Liars (2004), and her newest, Seaworthy: A Swordfish Boat Captain Returns to the Sea, a stirring account of a 30-day trip of longline fishing on the Grand Banks. Linda won the U.S. Maritime Literature Award in 2003 and the New England Book Award for non-fiction in 2004. She hasbased co-authored with her mother Martha Greenlaw Recipes From a Very Small Island and written two mysteries, Slipknot andFisherman's Bend. She lives on Isle au Haut, Maine.
